Hello,

I have following snmtrapd.conf file
#-----------snmptrapd.conf----
authCommunity log,execute,net public
#generic
traphandle .1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.5.1 /home/open #coldStart 0
traphandle .1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.5.2 /home/open #warmStart 1
traphandle .1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.5.3 /usr/bin/putty&
traphandle .1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.5.4 /home/open #linkUp 3
traphandle .1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.5.5 /home/open #authenticationFailure 4
traphandle .1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.5.6 /home/open #egpNeighborLoss 5
#Enterprise-spec traps for AMERICAN POWER CONVERSION
traphandle .1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1* /home/open #communicationLost
traphandle .1.3.6.1.4.1.318.2* /home/open #upsOverload
traphandle .1.3.6.1.4.1.318.4* /home/open #upsDischarged
traphandle .1.3.6.1.4.1.318.5* /bin/ls #upsOnBattery
traphandle 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.7* /home/open #lowBattery
traphandle .1.3.6.1.4.1.318.9* /usr/bin/putty &#powerRestored

when I generate APC-specific traps traphandle doesnt invoke any program, but
it works fine for generic traps

I start snmptrapd with following command:
tomb mibs # snmptrapd -P -F "%02.2h:%02.2j TRAP %w.%q from %A Descr.: %W\n"
I generate traps & I get:
Warning: -P option is deprecated; use -f -Le instead
NET-SNMP version 5.4
11:02 TRAP 6.PowerNet-MIB::upsOnBattery from 192.168.0.166 Descr.:
Enterprise Specific
11:02 TRAP 6.PowerNet-MIB::powerRestored from 192.168.0.166 Descr.:
Enterprise Specific

Can anybody point me what I am doing wrong? When I use traphandle
.1.3.6.1.4.1.318.* /bin/ls #upsOnBattery it recognizes trap & invokes
program but thats not a point.
Thanks in advance,
Thomasz
