Hello,
I am still battling to somehow monitor the HP-UX OS and Oracle.
My first idea was to not use the HP Native Agent anymore.
That turned out to not be possible since the oracle agents seem rely on
the native agent (Ora 9.0.2).
I have un-configured all my net-snmp and Oracle configuration steps,
re-instated the HP Native Master Agent and voila - I can walk the Oracle
DB mibs.
Now I am missing all the equally valuable OS (CPU/Ram/Filesystem)
information :-(
Would anyone know how to configure net-snmp to be a sub-agent to the
HP-UX Master Agent, utilizing HP-UX's Native Adapter Proxy Agent (
naaagt )?
It must be possible because Novell does it that way (see

entation/edir88/edir88/data/ag7i1ei.html - Figure 17.2

mentation/edir88/edir88/data/ag7i1ei.html%20-%20Figure%2017.2> ). They
have however not included the snmpd.conf file needed to get this
working.
Any help is very much appreciated!
Regards,
Andi
