Hello: MTU size can be tuned via TCP/IP stack configuration, but not in all OS, so that's why I'm seeking another way for tuning the snmp agent or net-snmp, to be more portable. How can be this size of the packet sent throug the wire tuned within (net-)snmp agent? in the snmp.conf stuff? In the snmp_api.h there is a label fixing the SNMP_MAX_MSG_SIZE 1472 (MTU 1500 minus TC/UDP header), if this label is changed will the packet size sent change? Should I recompile net-snmp? So in a few words, somebdoy can tell me how can I configure the size of the packets sent by the agent? Thansk all. Fernando Núñez Correa
