Hi,
I have loaded my own mib as per the MIB tutorial...
>snmptranslate on my object gives us valid path but snmpget on the same one
>gives error as no such object at this OID...
i'm writing mib for LEAF(linux embedded appliance firewall)
i've put it in experimental branch
+private(4)
+experimental(1)
+LeafMib(100)
+leafNetwork(1)
+lNHostName(1)
when i did
>snmptranslate -IR lNHostName
it showed
iso.dod........exprimental.Leafmib.leafNetwork.lNHostName
but when i tried
>snmpget -v 2c -c puclic localhost LEAF-MIB::lNHostName.0
it showed
no such object in this agent at this OID
where am i going wrong? please help me-------------------------------------------------------------------------
