I am using OpenSuse 10.2

I am working on a project titled LEAF-SNMP
(Linux Embedded Appliance Firewall)

I want to emulate atleast few properties of LEAF on Linux..

Primarily I want to insert IP address in /etc/host.deny and I want that the
request from that node should not be serviced.

I am using net-snmp 5.4.1
When I tried ./configure --with-libwrap

It is not working, there might be something wrong in configuration.

But then now my question is why do we need /etc/host.allow

If same IP address is present in /etc/host.allow and in /etc/host.deny then
what will happen and why??

Why do we need two files for the same purpose?
