   sshd:ALL
   ALL:PARANOID:deny
   ALL:ALL:DENY 

& /etc/init.d/snmpd restart

Again same issues,
$ snmpwalk -v 1 -c public localhost versiontag
    Timeout: No Response from localhost

Please kindly advice if I am wrong...

Try

    sshd:ALL
    ALL:PARANOID:deny
    ALL:ALL:DENY

i.e. switch the order of the first two lines.


[And before any one chips in - yes, I *know* this is not generally
advisible!
 But it's the obvious next step in determining what's wrong with
 Elayaraja's configuration.]
