Hi Dave,
First I posted this question in mail list but didn't get any answer.
I am using net-snmp-5.1.2 and when I do "snmpwalk -v2c -c public localhost .1"
it is hanging.
Can you help me understand why ?

Hi All, I am using net-snmp-5.1.2 . When I do walk on .1 my
agent is giving me time out messages and hanging...... I am not able to kill
the snmpd also. The only way I can use snmpd is by restarting the machine
only. My machine is linux fedora core 7 kernel 2.6.21.I will appreciate
any help.TIA
