Excellent - I will try it tomorrow - btw - I did install 5.2.5 on a Linux machine and it installed just fine. I would like to get this PRTG grapher up and running and talking to the Linux box running net-snmp. Any suggestions on documentation that may help me understand the process of getting the snmpd running?
As always I appreciate your time and feedback - thanks - John -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Dave Shield Sent: Tuesday, August 19, 2008 4:03 PM To: Karr,JE,John,JGU8 R Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: installing and using net-snmp 2008/8/19 Thomas Anders <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: >> I downloaded net-snmp and installed per the instructions and received >> the following responses (see below). > > net-snmp 5.2.5 doesn't support FreeBSD 7. (I'm currently on step 14 of the release process!) Give me another 15-20 minutes, and it should be available....
