I'm following the tutorial found in:
http://www.net-snmp.org/wiki/index.php/TUT:Writing_a_MIB_Module#The_MIB_Module_API
My objective is to learn how to compile a MIB to the net-snmp and get it
working.
I did everything as the tutorial described. Downloaded the files and copied
them into the specified directories. But when I reach the step of running
the objects I face a problem.
I try to execute the command:
*% snmpget localhost NET-SNMP-TUTORIAL-MIB::nstAgentModuleObject.0*
as specified in the tutorial.
But instead of presenting me the values as in the tutorial, the snmp only
presents me the help contend of the command snmpget. It's the same that if I
executed "snmpget --help".
What could it be?!
