Hello,
I use Net-SNMP librairie to do a SNMP poller aplication. On windows it work
well and i can get the value of my snmp server. But on FreeBSD i have the
following error:
IF-MIB::ifInOctets = No Such Instance currently exists at this OID
The log of snmpd contains:
Connection from UDP: [127.0.0.1]:61592
Purging address from address cache: UDP: [127.0.0.1]:59352Received SNMP
packet(s) from UDP: [127.0.0.1]:61592
GET message
-- IF-MIB::ifInOctets
And when i try snmpWalk:
Connection from UDP: [127.0.0.1]:54496
Received SNMP packet(s) from UDP: [127.0.0.1]:54496
GETNEXT message
-- IF-MIB::ifInOctets*.1*
I don't why the snmp_parse_oid, return a lenght of 10 and not a lenght of 11
same as windows aplication:
On FreeBSD, the lenght returned by the snmp_parse_oid is 0 and after 10
(Its don't work: No Such Instance currently exists at this OID) and on
windows it is a always a lenght of 11 (and it's work).
Can you help me?
Thanks
