Thats awesome, thanks for your effort.  Is this patch for Net-SNMP 
current/head or some particular version?  I'm hoping to find time to 
test it over the weekend.

I've a couple of FreeBSD machines readily available.  I might be able to 
find an OpenSolaris setup too, would that be useful at all or did you 
mean Solaris 10?
