That was my bad anyway - I did not read carefully enough and thought
your problems were accessing the master agent instead of accessing the
subagent. Dave is correct that AgentX is supposed to run over TCP.

Does it give you the correct value when you run over TCP? If so, I
wouldn't worry - it just implies that AgentX over UDP is not supported at all,
which is a good thing.
