Hello All,

I am trying to receive traps on a FC10 box that is running net-snmp 5.4.2.1

When I run snmptrapd -f -Le -D and cause my remote system to send a trap, I
get:

snmp_parse: Parsed SNMPv3 message (secName:edgewater, secLevel:authNoPriv):
USM unknown security name (no such user exists)

My /etc/snmp/snmptrapd.conf has:

createUser -e 0x0102030405 edgewater MD5 edgewater DES edgewater

And my /var/net-snmp/snmptrapd.conf has:

usmUser 1 3 0x0102030405 0x65646765776174657200 0x65646765776174657200 NULL

The source system that is sending the trap has:

trapsess -v 3 -u edgewater -l authnopriv -n none -a MD5 -A edgewater
10.10.50.158:162

Anyone have any idea why it's not working? I can receive traps from this
same source system on another box that is
Running net-snmp version: 5.2.1.2

Thanks for any help.

Max
