Thanks for the response. I have been experimenting with the
monitor function (specifying an event) and I have found some behavior which I
can not explain. When I use the following line in the snmpd.conf file:
notificationEvent SupplyVoltage 1.3.6.1.4.1.33302.10.6.1 -n
I get the following error in the in the snmpd.log file when snmpd is started:
/usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf: line 69: Error: unrecognised option
If I remove the '-n', the error goes away, but the documentation in the web
site below states that the -n is required?
