Hi,
I am implementing a Net-SNMP agent to handle table data. I used
mib2c..array-user.conf file to generate code from the mib file.
I have a snmp thread, which will process SET/GET request from network and
invoke a call back to user whenever it gets a SET request to add new row to the
table.
I have one more application thread which talks to another process and that
thread can update the container (say delete a row or add a row) through
container_insert, container_remove functions.
It can be possible that both snmp thread and application thread both accessing
the container at the same time. Is this net-snmp container protected from
simultaneous access by net-snmp or should the application developer control
access to the container? I am not able to find out the exact place where a node
is getting inserted to the container when SET request is processed.
Regards,
Jayesh KM
