Hello,
I'm trying to create a simple agent for a table I've create. I want to
have the table data stored in the agent. I've generated agent code
using the following command:
>> mib2c -c mib2c-dataset.conf testable.c
And built the agent using:
>> net-snmp-config -compile-subagent testAgent testable.c
I start master and sub agents:
>> snmpd (containing master agentx in the snmpd.conf)
>> testAgent -DtestTable
The testAgent returns "registering PDU failed 263!" None of the
snmpget, snmpset or snmpwalk work. ("No such object available on this
agent at this oid")
Does anyone know the reason why this error might be occurring? Or the
easiest method to create a sub agent for a table?
Regards,
Neil.
