Hi all,

I have installed net-snmp(V 5.4.2) in windows 2000 server.
I have configured snmpd.conf file to send the trap when specified service is
stopped.

my configuration file is :(snmpd.conf)

createUser snmpuser MD5 "snmpuser123" DES
rouser  snmpuser
rocommunity public
trapcommunity  public

trapsink   monitorSystem  public

agentSecName snmpuser

proc "realplay.exe" 1 1

monitor -r 10 -u snmpuser  -o prNames -o prErrMessage  "Process not running
" prErrorFlag  == 1

When I start the snmpd its giving following errors:

C:\net-snmp\bin>snmpd -Ddisman -a -c ..\etc\snmp\snmpd.conf

No log handling enabled - turning on stderr logging
registered debug token disman, 1
netsnmp_assert x failed ..\..\agent\agent_registry.c:536
netsnmp_assert x failed ..\..\agent\agent_registry.c:536
netsnmp_assert x failed ..\..\agent\agent_registry.c:536
netsnmp_assert x failed ..\..\agent\agent_registry.c:536
..\etc\snmp\snmpd.conf: line 28: Error: Already have an entry for this
process.
header_complex_add_data_by_oid with duplicate index.
NET-SNMP version 5.4.2
Received SNMP packet(s) from callback: 1 on fd 812

And also if I do snmpwalk for prTable when realplay.exe is running.

UCD-SNMP-MIB::prIndex.1 = INTEGER: 1
UCD-SNMP-MIB::prNames.1 = STRING: realplay.exe
UCD-SNMP-MIB::prMin.1 = INTEGER: 1
UCD-SNMP-MIB::prMax.1 = INTEGER: 1
UCD-SNMP-MIB::prCount.1 = INTEGER: -1
UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrorFlag.1 = INTEGER: noError(0)
UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrMessage.1 = STRING:
UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrFix.1 = INTEGER: noError(0)
UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrFixCmd.1 = STRING:

After stopping realplay.exe snmpwalk for prTable is

UCD-SNMP-MIB::prIndex.1 = INTEGER: 1
UCD-SNMP-MIB::prNames.1 = STRING: realplay.exe
UCD-SNMP-MIB::prMin.1 = INTEGER: 1
UCD-SNMP-MIB::prMax.1 = INTEGER: 1
UCD-SNMP-MIB::prCount.1 = INTEGER: -1
UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrorFlag.1 = INTEGER: noError(0)
UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrMessage.1 = STRING:
UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrFix.1 = INTEGER: noError(0)
UCD-SNMP-MIB::prErrFixCmd.1 = STRING:

Here prCount always -1 and also prErrorFlag.1 is not changing to 1(after
stopping realplay.exe).

Why it is not working in Windows? (In Linux it is working with same
configuration ).

Please let me know is there any problem in snmpd.conf file.
