The mib2c output is really designed to print out the useful parts of the
MIB that are relevant to coders.  It can generically print out lots of
stuff in a mib tree, which can be highly useful, but it doesn't print
out the "meta" type information you're talking about.

It probably wouldn't be hard to add, assuming that we store it in the
parser results in the first place.

But Dave's right, using the libsmi project's code is possibly a better
solution for you.
