Thank You Rakesh,
I had installed it via tar.gz.I followed following steps while installing:-
- Unzip the tar file by "tar -xvf "
- Configure it by "./configure"
- then "make"
- and "make & install"
While configuring it asked me for a basic setup for snmpd.conf file, like
sysLocation,sysDescr etc. But when i finished all the commands and just for
checking i used "snmpconf" command, it responses me that there is no such
command, i browse that "/usr/local/bin" directory, and i m surprised that i
found nothing there. I m going through your suggestion today if there is any
more guidance then plz guide me further..
