Hi Dave,
It may not be possible to use a newer version of Net SNMP as we
are about the release the product soon..

I would like to mention that When I try the same on Ubuntu machine everything
works fine, when I try to move the code to the target machine, which runs the
linux with OpenWRT I am seeing the segfault..
I would like to know if any such problem seen with OpenWRT before?

I tried to debug the agent code on the target I ended up with the same
question that why it has to ask the agent code for the ifname details when we
say to exclude the ifTable MIB.

Thanks and Regards,
Malathi

No idea.
Let's try and get to the bottom of the -I-ifTable problem first.

No.
Disabling this at run time should be sufficient.

I've tried running the current 5.4.x code and disabling the ifTable module,
and this works precisely as expected.   Querying elements within the
ifTable fail, and a walk (or GetNext) will skip over to the next section of
the code.

Can you try with the 5.4.3.rc1 tarball?
Confirm whether this gives you the same error or not?

Dave
