Hi, I have created an snmp agent using Java Dynamic Management Kit. This agent should work with standard snmp protocol v1 and v2c. It is working. I have tested it by manager created in Java as well.
Now I would like to make some cooperation between netsnmp and this agent. Then I could send standard 'snmpget' request, the netsnmp will post it to java agent and this agent will send response back to netsnmp. This agent is waiting on udp port 8086. I have tried to work with it as with agentX, but that didn't work. How to configure netsnmp (snmpd.conf) to cooperate with my agent? net snmp version: 5.5 OS: Linux 2.6.34-12-default Agent: udp port 8086 I hope that I give all necessary information.
