Hi experts,
I'm recently tasked with a project to create SSIDs on Cisco Wireless Controller
through SNMP. I'm completely new to SNMP! I downloaded and installed net-snmp
5.3.2.2 and I also imported all the MIBs. I'm going through the MIBs and I
found that I might be able to create SSIDs by creating some objects and
assigning them values. For example the first object that I need to create is:
bsnDot11EssIndex OBJECT-TYPE
SYNTAX Unsigned32 (1..517)
MAX-ACCESS read-create
STATUS current
DESCRIPTION
"Index of the Ess(WLAN) within Airespace Switch.
Airespace Switch supports 517 ESS(Wlans) so index
will be from 1 to 517. 517 is to be used for ESS(WLAN)
created for support of Third Party APs(non-Airespace APs)"
::= { bsnDot11EssEntry 1 }
I did research but couldn't find a way to create it... Can any of you please
tell me how or let me know where I can find a how-to doc on this?
Thanks!
Difan
