hi, in trouble about snmtrap.
my confg file is like this:
snmptrapd.conf
------------------------------------------------------
createUser [my user name on pc]
authUser log [my user name on pc]
--------------------------------------------------------
this is so simple because when i write sth else it says "unknown privacy
protocol" in command line with snmptrapd.
my snmptrapd command is like this:
c:/>snmptrapd -f -C -c snmptrapd.conf -Le -d
Net-snmp version 5.5
_
there is no warning or error in snmptrapd cmd page, it is just waiting.
my snmptrap command is like this:
c:/>snmptrap localhost -u [my user name on pc]
c:/>
it runs or does sth else or it continues to next line but i do not see
anything on snmptrapd cmd window.
