I did try to find some documentation on this, but no success. But the source
code does indicate that snmp_sess_send does encrypt the pdu. Below is a bt of a

Dear Prabhakar,
I guess it mostly does. Go through the documentation of Net-SNMP.

Hi,
I am using the net-snmp api's to generate snmp v3 traps. The API I am using is
snmp_sess_send. Do I have to encrypt the data or does the net-snmp framework
automatically encrypt the data based on the user setting ?
