Good evening,

I'm Thibaut Allain and i'm currently working for Orange-FT group, a french
telecommunication company.

I'm trying to build a shell script using the net snmp tools on a red hat server.
The script has to automatically check the validity of inputs which are mib
files.
For example, display errors during the parsing of mib files to sort the wrong
and the good files.

I tried many things with the tool snmptranslate and in modifying the snmp.conf
file but i can't obtain the result i want.
The mib files have been installed in the default directory
/usr/share/snmp/mibs/ .
Could you please give me some help in explaining to me how to completely parse
an unknown mib file ?

Thanks a lot,

Thibaut Allain
