Download net-snmp-5.4.4.pre1.zip (6.2 MB) "Latest" here actually means "most recent" rather than "most up-to-date" The Net-SNMP project supports multiple lines of code, which are released semi-independently. We'e currently in the process of releasing bug-fix versions of the 5.3.x, 5.4.x and 5.5.x lines. This doesn't affect the fact that 5.6.1 is still the most up-to-date version of the code. The SourceForge website doesn't really handle this scenario, and indicates the most recent release, even if it's on an older line.
