My requirement is to run two snmpd daemons on the same windows machine. i.e. the first instance can use the default port addresss of 161 and 162. Now for the second instance I want to use some other port address say 171 and 172. How do I do this? If I see the file C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\services there is this entry, snmp 161/udp #SNMP snmptrap 162/udp snmp-trap #SNMP trap How do I add a second entry in this file for the second snmpd daemon?
