How? What command did you use? > It also failed with other library dependancies.. If you are using 'yum', then this should detect the other dependencies and install these as well. Try running the command yum install beecrypt-devel If this fails, please report the *exact* errors that you see. > BTW, my machine is running RedHat 5.01-4. > Could you please let me know the net-snmp RPM and beecrypt RPM > that I have to pick up from net-snmp org. The beecrypt RPM ought to be part of the standard RedHat environment. It's not something that we provide. The only thing that you get from us would be the net-snmp RPM itself. In fact - if you're not bothered about having the most recent version of the Net-SNMP package, you should be able to install a RedHat-provided version of this, direct from a RedHat repository. Try yum install net-snmp or possibly yum install net-snmp\* That should take care of all of the library dependencies for you Dave ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable. Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes sense of it. IT sense. And common sense. http://p.sf.net/sfu/splunk-d2d-c2 _______________________________________________ Net-snmp-users mailing list Net-snmp-users@lists.sourceforge.net Please see the following page to unsubscribe or change other options: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/net-snmp-users
