Hello all,

Below is the configure command which we are currently using to make net-snmp
libs and binaries.

*./configure --with-default-snmp-version=3
[email protected]=lab
--with-logfile=/opt/nsn/var/
--with-persistent-directory=/opt/nsn/var/net-snmp
--with-mibdirs=/opt/nsn/mibs --prefix=/opt/nsn

*We are not using *'make install'*. Instead we get a tar.gz with all the
libs and executables including snmpd and related libs which is a output of
a top level Make which also takes care of building net-snmp.
On untarring this software package net-snmp libs, snmpd and mibs get
installed to* /opt/nsn/lib* */opt/nsn/sbin* and */opt/nsn/mibs*.
Directory creation is taken care by our installer.

Will there be any issues if the "snmpd" script present in
net-snmp-5.5.1/agent/ is not executed which actually generates lt-snmpd.
If this script is necessary to run, then how can be integrate this script to
our installer.

Thanks
