OCTET STRING is one of the base types of ASN.1
In terms of defining MIB files (i.e. SMI), it's introduced in RFC 2578
DisplayString is defined as part of RFC 2579
(Both of these were also present in SMIv1 - see RFC 1212)
SnmpAdminString is defined as part of RFC 3411
But none of these have much discussion of these types,
over what's there in the MIB definitions themselves.
