Does net-snmp (or any net-snmp open source based project) currently
contains any simple means to "fully" simulate a SNMP enabled device/MIB?

Something like the snmpsim described at:
http://snmpsim.sourceforge.net/ (python based)
which enables the user to:
 - save a snapshot of the device to a simple textual file or crease such a
file directly
 - emulate all of the OIDs contained in the text file

By looking through netsnmp I didn't find anything ready out of the box?

I suppose this should be easily implementable by using some form of shell
scripting (which might be my next step...)?
