Is there a way to force snmpd to use a specific applIndex for the next
application that registers?

I have an application that was registered as applIndex 3. After a
rebuild of the system, it now gets registered as 1.

That would not be an issue of the SNMP tool performing the queries
was able to actually look up the index first in the applTable, but
in this case this is not the case. So we want tohave that application
re-register at applIndex 3.

Without access to the app etc, is there a way to tell snmpd
to pretend the last used applIndex is 2 so the next one will be 3?

thanks
