Hello all,

Release 49.el6_5.1 on CentOS (2.6.32-279.9.1.el6.x86_64). Using this with Cacti
and spine poller process though I came here to ask for help as I can replicate
the problem with only snmp tools on the same box. Firstly it's a big cacti,
1900 devices, been working for months with no problems. Suddenly I start
getting timeouts for snmp get requests (as reported by cacti logging, btw I've
already written to cacti support forums as well so I will keep this thread
NET-SNMP only)

Not just any timeout, my snmpwalk would start returning results but halfway
through it stops printing results, waits a little and says "Timeout: No
Response from xx.xx.xx.xx". This error I usually get when I have no access at
all to the device or the device doesn't support SNMP.

# snmpwalk -v1 -cpublic xx.xx.xx.xx .1
[many lines of values here]
Timeout: No Response from 10.29.0.117
#

This also sometimes happens with localhost as well which is the weirdest part.
What other info would you find helpful?

Any hints will be enormously appreciated!

Chris
