Hi
The traps were not being logged because the MIB was unknown. I was able to
determine this after unknown MIB logging was enabled. (In my opinion, this
should be enabled by default)
I've read the documentation on importing MIB files but I'm a bit confused on
how to import the MIB files Dell provided. As assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks

Subject: SNMP trap going to syslog but not snmptt
Hi
I've installed net-snmp on Ubuntu, made the following changes and restarted the
snmpd and snmptt daemons. When snmp traps are received they are logged in
syslog but not processed by snmptt. What's wrong?
/etc/default/snmpd
TRAPDRUN=yes
/etc/snmp/snmptrapd.conf
authCommunity log,execute,net public
traphandle default /usr/sbin/snmptt
/etc/snmp/snmptt.ini
log_file = /var/log/snmptt/snmptt
Thanks
