Hi All,
We are using snmptrapd to convert message from trap to ASCII format. But we
are facing issues during failovers. Scenario is explained below.

We have two cisco servers primary and secondary sending traps through
snmpv3 format to our snmptrapd server on port 162. Traps from primary is
being received without any issues. Whenever failover happens from primary
to secondary, We receive traps from secondary also without any issues.
However when primary comes back, then we receive traps only in tcp level
and snmptrapd doesn’t handle it. Once we restart snmptrapd, we will start
receiving once again. Hence we wanted to know do we have any solution to it?
Note:- We have other servers which are connected to snmptrapd server and
sends message in SNMPV2 format and works completely fine during switchovers.
