Hi everyone,
I need to send traps from specific ipv4 and ipv6 addresses for my usecase
using the same snmpd.conf file. I noticed that specifying the clientaddr
for either ipv4 OR ipv6 works but when I specify both lines in snmpd.conf
as follows, it does not work for both cases.
[snmp] clientaddr fd00:0:0:1::3
[snmp] clientaddr 169.254.1.3
This always picks the last line. For example, in the above case, ipv4 traps
are correctly sent but not ipv6 and viceversa if I reverse the above order
of the client addr command.
Is it not possible to specify the clientaddr configs as above and expect
both ipv4 and ipv6 to work simultaneously?
Thanks,
Divya
