The suggested solution was to run the compiled agent and not the vendor supplied agent. I am not sure if this is actually what fixed it as the OP’s response was “I’ve fixed the problem already” but I am hoping the suggested solution is what fixed the problem for OP and therefore will fix my problem. My question is how do I run the compiled agent instead of the vendor supplied agent? I have been using the command: service snmp start, but am assuming that this is the vendor supplied agent and not the compiled one. Thanks in advance!
