Hi All, I am learning about the AgentX subagent to support SNMPGET/SNMPSET. Kindly provide clarification for the below queries:
1. Do I need to use both --with-agentx and --with-mib-modules="agentx" in Net-SNMP to have AgentX support? 2. I am following http://www.net-snmp.org/tutorial/tutorial-5/toolkit/demon/. I have encountered the following error upon execution. Snmpd is running and added line "master agentx" in /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf. I can see /var/agentx/master file. *./example-demon &* Warning: Failed to connect to the agentx master agent ([NIL]): example-demon is up and running.
