Hi,
I am trying to set up my Linux box as a CDROM
server for my Mac using SuSE Linux 6.2 with netatalk 1.4.2.
Mounting the HFS CDs works fine, my Mac can access
to the files on the CD, but all files are listed as generic documents - they
haven't got any type or creator.
I've tried to mount the CD's on my Linux box with
"-o afpd" or "-o fork=netatalk", but this brings up the problem, that my Mac
needs up to three minutes to show the available volumes from the
Linux box and finally the exported CD appears only in grey letters and is
not accessable.
What do I have to do for accessing CDs over the
network with correct types and creators?
