I think this is due to a bug in one of the AppleShares; I saw that 
problem here for a while and it went away when I upgraded to the 
latest AppleShare client. Try grabbing the latest version for your OS 
from apple.com. I currently use 3.8.6 but I think that needs OS9; 
can't rememger what I used with 8.6, maybe 3.8.3.
