This is the worst thing you can do. AppleTalk Adresses are truly dynamic.
If thy wouldn't get the new address, delete the AppleTalk Preferences (used with
OpenTransport) and restart doing a PRAM-Zap.

Some of the B/W G3 had a problem not freshening their AppleTalk address as desired.
