I have a Pentium 266 Linux Box with 4 SQSI (Adaptec 2940) disks (fast and wide) 20 Mb, 9Mb, 2x4Mb and 128 Mb RAM and a 3c905b 100 network card. I was pretty satisfied with the transfer times (we had NT earlier) at almost 2 Mb a sec. Then I read about someone transfering 500 Mb in a minute. Where should I start to speed up this? I am seldom transfering more than 100Mb at the same time There are only 2 Macs transfering much data (the other ones are using DCS JPEG (kind of OPI)) [EMAIL PROTECTED]
