I suppose that in the 'real world' the position of "no platform for
fascists" which is not a liberal or libertarian one by any means, was
commonly supported, adopted and applied if possible. But if that kind of
preventing is done by the state, is a top down thing, or carried out by
legal means, then there is inevitably an issue. Power's motives inevitably
lead to a cynical manipulation of such rules to clamp down on the
dissemination of challenging progressive materials.
