Ruth and Michael -
Many thanks for the reactions; and I completely agree with Michael; it's
a lovely reflection of the broad-mindedness of the Netbehaviour list
that I can post something like this, which is really way off-piste, and
people still show an interest instead of telling me to, er, shove it in
a more appropriate forum.

I really like this Edward. There's a slightly Pooterish ( but very
nuanced nonetheless) tone of voice ( particularly present in God)
which you've honed over the years with Dr Hairy and friends which is
both intensely amusing but also allows for a great deal more actual
depth and thought than one might have intiially expected.
Additionally everyone is always really rather mild-manneredly but
deliciously *puzzled* at each new twist in events...(and how lovely to
have something so very much your own furrow, so imbued with fairly
timeless qualities, here , on this list - a tribute to both your own
steadfast truth to your voice and wonderful friendly, eclectic,
welcome this place offers...)
Comic writing at its richest.
I look forward to more.

Dear all,
'The Doubter's Mysteries' are an attempt to write a short cycle of
Mystery Plays - ie. plays based on Bible stories, like the Medieval
Mystery Plays of York, Chester and Wakefield - from the point of
view of
a sceptical modern audience; an audience which either doesn't
believe in
God, or can't work out what he's playing at.
There are fourteen of these plays, and the first is now online: 'The
Creation (and the Fall of Lucifer)'.
