HiI hope it's OK to post this here. I'm looking for a second external to examine an MRes student of mine on a university of Essex validated programme at Writtle University College, just outside Chelmsford in Essex. The viva is already fixed for June 27th. We need a second external as the student also does some regular teaching at the institution. The student's work revolves around photography and augmented reality. The time commitment would be pre-reading and writing a report on a 10,000 word piece of writing ( reduced from a normal 30,000 because of the practice element) plus attending the viva with the other external (up to a couple of hours).The fee is £147 plus a meal allowance plus travel. Essex seem quite picky about qualifications so a PhD in the general area of art and design field would be essential. If you're interested drop me a note at [email protected]
