i've tried garlic water in the past with pretty limited results; cleaning with warm mild soapy water seems to be more effective altho maybe because i'm physically removing the little critters. i haven't tried tobacco - don't have any! & not many friends who are still smoking but i'll find someone to cadge a ciggie off & give it a go. thanks,
