Contemporary Art course, Atlanta College of Art, 1983 http://www.alansondheim.org/NYU4ACA1983.jpg "Visual space has essentially no owner." - Wittgenstein, Philosophical Remarks The course was free-ranging; the assignments were open to interpretation, and in the course of the semester, students could propose their own projects. it worked then; it might not work now. but the students were brilliant, and so many of them produced strong work all along. later ACA was taken over by the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), and as far as I know, the programs and requirements were changed. And so many of these names and references are forgotten now, as all of us will be, and in a far shorter time. _______________________________________________ NetBehaviour mailing list NetBehaviour@lists.netbehaviour.org https://lists.netbehaviour.org/mailman/listinfo/netbehaviour
