Hi all,

Just wanted to share two articles about where I see the spheres of meditation,
literature, and networks converging. This is driven in part by natural inquiry
and recent science, as well as by the network nature of the accelerating crises
that our planet faces today.

The first article is about how Greek tragedy relates to medical theory, or to
put another way, Western art to Western science. (This general idea has
informed my own work since 1990.)

The second is about how Buddhism and meditation relate to science (especially
neuroscience) and to the crises facing our world. (My interest in meditation
and neuroscience began in 1998.)

One productive relation between these two articles is the understanding of both
Buddhist meditation and Greek tragedy as networks, and thus of the closely
related spheres of art and mindfulness.

All best,

Max
