Hi everyone, I joined this list about a year ago, in the middle of the pandemic and I have been here almost everyday and not said anything ever. I found it an incredibly enriching and very warm place because it is a conversation unlike anything on the internet. This is my first space/list of its kind. I find it hard to be visible anywhere. I am trying to get better at speaking and being okay with visibility.
And as an ending note, I would invite you all to be part of a cybernetic dance looking for birds here - https://sultanazana.github.io/creation_of_birds/ We( me and my collaborator Puneet) made this work last month and it was shown at ELO under the broader banner of dra.ft which is a sort of a virtual lab space/ loose collective of (mostly) Indians and Asians working in the space of text and code + archives. Again, I am incredibly happy to be part of the list! PS- I am slightly nervous sending this email in!
