*_ Advice - One to One Sessions_*

Film London Artists' Moving Image Network is inviting artists to apply to take part in a programme of *developmental one to one advice sessions*. We're asking artists to identify some advice areas that they feel would help them to develop their career and practice.
   * Sessions will be scheduled throughout October - December
   * We aim to offer successful applicants a programme of 3-4 advice
     sessions
   * Sessions can take place at Film London offices, at artists'
studios or at a facilities house. These will range from one hour
     to a half day
   * The scheme can accommodate 6 artists
   * All sessions are free to successful applicants

*HOW TO APPLY:*

Fill in the application form (attached) and send it to us, along with your cv, to [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (Please put 'One to One Application' as the subject) or post to

Suzie Reeves, Artists' Moving Image Network Assistant, Film London, 6.10 The Tea Building, 56 Shoreditch High Street, London E1 6JJ.

*Deadline for applications: **21 September 2006*

*When you will be notified: **28 September 2006*

** We are asking for initial suggestions for areas of advice at this stage. We will need successful applicants to be available for an introductory meeting during the week of 02 October to fine-tune a bespoke programme of advice.
*Who can apply:*

This programme is open to artists at all stages of their careers, but not to students. Our remit is specifically to support visual artists working in moving image - we cannot provide developmental support towards individuals' careers in film, television or other aspects of the audio visual industry. We will be selecting artists who will benefit most from having access to specific advice.

*Advisors:*

We don't have a definitive list of advice areas, we encourage artists to nominate areas and topics as appropriate. However as a guide, we have previously run advice sessions around software for moving image production, High Definition technology, production planning, critical tutorials, sound design and animation techniques. Advisors have included VET (Post-production and Broadcast multimedia faqcility); Kirsty Ogg, Director, Showroom Gallery; Gareth Evans, Writer, curator, Co-editor Vertigo Magazine; Simon Wallis, Director, Chisenhale Gallery; Konrad Welz (software advisor); Daria Martin, artist; Jane Colling, Sherbet Productions.

AMIN one to one advice sessions are coordinated by Jacqui Davies. Jacqui is an independent producer. She has produced projects for cinema ,gallery exhibition, television broadcast, DVD and theatre back projection. She is also the line producer for commissions on the animate! Scheme.

We will be repeating this programme next year and will make another call for applications.
